| Souhrn apod.: | The name of this bachelor thesis is Education of persons with mental disabilities in Olomouc region. It introduces choices of educational sphere for persons with mental disabilities in Olomouc region. The thesis consists of three main chapters. There are several therms regarding to the issue in the first chapter such as mental disabilities, mental retardation and its classification, socialization, integration and equalization of opportunities. The second chapter is concentrated on coniditons in educational sphere for persons with mental disabilities in the Czech republic including listing many types of educational institutions and their pros and cons. The third chapter consists of practical part of this thesis. It is focused on the educational sphere for persons with mental disabilities in Olomouc region, chances of individual and group integration in this region, and cooperation between schools and special-pedagogical centre. There are also named posibilities of lifelong education for persons with mental disabilities and at the end, there is a casuistry as the example of possible ways of education for persons with mental disabilities.
