| Souhrn apod.: | This bachelor thesis, entitled "Protection of human rights among people with learning disabilities within residential social services of organization DC Paprsek", aims to clarify human rights issues and the protection of people with learning disabilities, as well as to evaluate how the organization DC Paprsek protects the human rights of their residents within the residential social services sheltered housing. I describe a sence of human rights as a solution to a theory and practice in social work in my bachelor thesis. One of the groups most endangered by human rights abuses are people with learning disabilities. One part of my bachelor thesis pursues the problem of human rights protection of people with learning disabilities. Describing the social changes seen since 1989 is important in defining the concept of human rights. In the last part of my thesis, I describe and evaluate the method of fundamental human rights protection in sheltered housing according to valid legislation.
